Let’s Stop Fighting Each Other. And Start Working for a Better America.
Regardless of what you believe or where you fall on the political spectrum, we’ve all seen disagreements pull apart our communities, friendships, and families. But as the divide grows between us, so does the threat to our democracy, our values, and our nation’s security. We’ve seen how the spread of misinformation, mal-information and disinformation on social media can make it worse. In fact, 85% of Americans believe that our political debates have become less respectful and less fact based.

What Can We Do?
Talk and then LISTEN to each other – person-to-person, as a community – keeping an open mind about ideas and opinions that differ from our own. That’s why Community Conversations is working with local and national civic groups to connect with people across the country. We work to:
- Investigate the evolving uses of disinformation and its impact on polarization
- Provide resources to educate and protect communities from the dangers of disinformation.
- Hold online and in-person meetings to deliver expert briefings and bridge the divide.
We’ll never agree on everything. And we shouldn’t. But our disagreements don’t need to turn our neighbors into our enemies. Strengthening our community connections reminds us that our shared values are more powerful than the threats that divide us.
